Lmao... DONT DO THIS
Once the leaves of cilantro start to turn yellow do you cut them off or can they turn green again?
Can somebody tell me what was the orange liquid he swirl or dipped the branches in then placed it inside the sandbox what was the orange liquid?
It’s worth paying for a tree I know the variety of and that is grafted onto an appropriate rootstock. Most home gardens don’t have room for a full sized tree, but a dwarf rootstock can limit the size of the tree while still providing ample fruit that is easily accessible due to the smaller size of the tree.
Can I grow this in Southern California?
Thanks
Thought it took 70 degrees to gem or sprout..I'm confused..help
What was the glue substance you put on there call?
How physically close do pawpaws need to be for pollination? Are we talking side by side or just maybe in the neighborhood?
Peach tree?
90 days? 😂😂😂 Go away
Can we take the hard shell off before putting it in the ziplock bag
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO MANY BLESSINGS ❤❤❤
Roots growing vigorous or not depends on many factors. Right humidity, right temperature, suitable medium like in this clips are necessary. But it also depends on how good the fig cuttings, and the varieties. Some varieties grow roots easier than others. And if the cuttings are not healthy then they won't grow roots vigorously.
Does this info apply to cantaloupe and butternut squash as well?
Zone 10b here.... even if it grows, it won't be as Sweet as them Georgia ones!!! 😢
the back and forth between joking and not joking is giving me whiplash lol i cant tell what i need to be taking note of 😭😂 were those are year old fr? did you keep them in the fridge or was that the joke?
Too much caffeine that day. Sorry. Haha, yes they are legitimately one year old cuttings, and I keep them in the fridge to continue dormancy until I’m ready to propagate them.
@@PlantFanatics thank you for clarifying! 😂🙏🏾
Aloha and Mahalo for the tips!! Will be trying your techniques here in Hawaii!
Do you know what true to seed means
Yes. Definitely.
Were could i buy cuttings from these lemons?
You can sign up to the ccpp and order from there. Very pricey though. Very.
@@PlantFanatics ccpp?
So has anyone in Zone 5 been able to harvest any meaningful amount of figs, if any, from their Chicago cold hardy fig? I have a few here in zone 6 and it seems like the growing season is too short for them to ever do much. They grow new foilage reaching maybe 5-6 feet but then completely die back each winter and never produce anything.
Chicago is not optimal because it’s not an early variety. You should try RDB, Florea, Inproved Celeste, or Teramo. Those ripen a couple weeks ahead of CH so you might be able to get some to ripen.
Lil miss figgy? 😂
I have 2 jackfruit seedlings. Hope they'll do well in France/Paris.
Eat a peach. Put the pit in the refrigerator for 90 days. Go to law school. Graduate. Go to medical school. Graduate. Complete residency. Sit and watch wild animals knock immature fruits to the ground to rot and be returned to the soil by insects.
😂😂😂
What's the name of the tool you use to cut them?
One mistake a lot of people make for potted citrus is not watering enough in the winter, not watering enough in the winter can prevent the next set of blooms entirely.
It is better to use cloned plants.
People call you liars for advertising zone 5 as cold hardy? Sheesh You all keep up the great work you’re doing, and keep pushing the limits of your plants. I’m zone 4, I know what I signed up for. I believe most of us know to adjust the information to our extreme climate.
I appreciate the kind words! Yes, people get heated over this stuff. It’s crazy. Usually it’s people who haven’t done anything themselves though.
I'm in zone 9 and grow a chicago hardy that's doing grate it has 3 trees out of one trunk.
@@PlantFanatics Hi i got a chicago hardy tree im in zone 9 it has 3 trees out of the main trunk that died in the winter that's the only one i got my brown turkey died for some reason.
👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing!
just one more thing to add. I live in South Carolina
Wow that is all I can say wow! I ran into you while searching for how big do little miss figgy trees grow too? Six years ago, I wanted a fig tree because I love figs so much. while searching a nursery online they were selling dwarf trees called little miss figgy and promised that they don't get very tall or wide and that they could grow in containers. Needless to say, I got hood winked and bought four, yes, I said four trees. They have grown way over what they said they would and just as wide. They are about 11 feet tall and 6 wide. I may have to dig up some as I don't want that many big, tall fig trees. However, the trees are always healthy looking and have very tasty figs. The problem is I don't have room for four trees, 2 will have to go bye bye.
Great vid. Did I miss where it said you got yours?
My lemon tree from seed is now 12 yrs old. It continues to produce new leaves but no fruit yet. I too, will never give up on it! Thanks for this video.
Going to try this. Also got some feeds from a local Asian Market. But most instructions say to soak seeds overnight first, and germinate outside of the soil on paper towel before putting in soil.
My rhubarb leaves are turning yellow. This started before I fertilize them and continued after I fertilize them
Great job and information. is river sand suitable ? what month is best for mulburry tree cutting to root ? thank you.
Great video. My 3 year old citrus tree in a pot has a branch that’s way too long compared to the rest of the branches. I’ll trim it back this was very informative thanks!
Peaches grown from seed don't grow true to parent. 99.999% of the tine you’ll get trash.
I'm trying this. I hope it grows 🙏
😂
Hey great idea sir...but one question ❓ ....will this work only with sand...have you tried it with regular garden soil....or just sun-dried garden soil..will it work on it too.. I'm keen to know..
Thank you very much!!!
I really like knowing how to take STORE food and turn it into MORE food. Thanks for sharing this amazing trick.
A lot of fruit baring trees and such actually dont produce anything for a long time. Like, even Tea trees like you would make sweet tea from... arnt really good to get leaves from for 2 or 3 years. Peach trees take up to 7 years. This is why most fruit trees are grafted cuttings, not only to have a better root stock for benefits, but because they are ready to bare fruit already... that and the majority of hybrid plants, when you take their seeds will give you the base plant. Like, apple trees tend to give crab apples, hwich is wat a lot of hybrid trees are pollinated with, or something to that degree. Sorta like how you can bread and donkey and a horse and get a mule, but you cant breed mules.
I have been watching several videos in this topic and the I ly thing I learned is that everyone has a different opinion 😄. My Meyer lemon in a lot has hardly any leaves, but over 100 lemons so I am just not going to freak out. I fertilize it and watch the watering. I’m in zone 10. Thx
One thing I have learned is that plants developed in a particular biome (ecological zone) will grow in a similar biome elsewhere. I wonder if any Greenlandic gardeners have had success with Russian Seaberry (Hipphophae rhamnoides), Arctic Kiwi (Actinidia arguta), or the Buartnut tree (Juglans xbixbyi). If you can grow potatoes there you might even get certain cold-hardy Oca tubers (Oxalis tuberosa) to grow as an annual as well.
Omg thank you I was starting to get frustrated 😅 👍
I'm in MI and have never found these, but I'm dying to try one!
THANK YOU.❤
Hi, can we use soil or cocopeat instead of river sand? I don't have access to river sand
